Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 15708
Basic-IDE / Invalid tabbar names trigger errormessage on focus change
Last modified: 2003-07-01 06:33:00 UTC
Reproduction on Solaris/Sparc 1. Goto Basic-IDE 2. select a tab from the tabbar 3. Name it "my tabbar" (with space, without quotes) 4. press <Enter> 5. Close the errormessage (Invalid name) 6. Change Focus away from the IDE 7. wait a minute The warning will pop up again. Close it, another warning will be displayed. And then another one. If you happen to click them all away, you have just an instant to correct the tabbar-name to something valid before the next warning comes up. Expected: Display warning once, return focus to the selected tabbar-name. The warning might be repeated if the user enters an invalid name again and takes the focus away from the tabbar by pressing enter or clicking somewhere *inside* the Basic-IDE. If the focus is set to a window/area outside the Basic-IDE the warning should not appear. This functionality is broken (worked in 644m8 - at least). JSK->TZ: This is very ugly and i think we should fix it soon. Other platforms might be affected, i'm going to check this right away.
Correction: The messagebox keeps on popping up when it is closed by <Enter>. If you use the mouse, it works ok. Windows is not affected. in tread t@1 [21] main(0x6, 0xffbef80c, 0xffbef828, 0x99400, 0x0, 0x0), at 0x4e04c (.../compilers/SUNWS6u1/sparc/SUNWspro/bin/../WS6U1/bin/sparcv9/dbx) frame 6 0xf73d8324: BASCTL_1.0+0x58324: jmpl %i2, %o7 (.../compilers/SUNWS6u1/sparc/SUNWspro/bin/../WS6U1/bin/sparcv9/dbx) loadobject /export/home/user/autojsk/staroffice7/program/libbasctl645ss.so
changed to 'rc'
TBE->JSK: cannot reproduce on 645_m7-2 (unxsols4.pro)
It's gone in recent builds. Almost magical bugfixing.
