If my CPU utilization goes above 60% then my openoffice (writer) application
becomes unresponsive:  typing results in a letter every 15 seconds, scroll bars
unresponsive, etc.  Other java UI apps like eclipse are responding fine. 
Basically if I start a java compile, then I can't use openoffice 1.1B2.

I don't have this problem under OO 1.0

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org
many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If
the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back 
It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try.

Hi bikehead,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice...

Please try our newest version and send a new comment if your problem 
occurs again. It has been improved a lot.

If there's no new comment from until 12/04/2003 I assume this works 
now...
I'll close this Issue then...
