Please explain it more clear about the problem.

how we can see it ? you say it is changed to 30.12.99.
what is the original ? how we can see it ?
Comment 4 Unknown 2003-09-12 13:40:31 UTC
Please load this document into OO 1.0.x (e.g. OO 1.0.3) and you will
see original dates. Unforunately I havn't actually installed this
Version of OO on my System.
Comment 5 utomo99 2003-09-13 05:29:48 UTC
sorry I already uninstalled 1.0.3.

I think somebody can try this, or we can close this, because 1.1 will
be final soon ?

What?
You want to close this bug despite this isn't solved yet?
Congratulation, you have found the easiest way to solve this problem!

I have reinstalled OO1.0.3 and give you the needed information, but
I'm not sure whether anybody is interested in solving this bug. :-(

Three mounths...
Comment 9 rblackeagle 2003-09-13 22:40:50 UTC
Who wants to close it? Any fixes will appear in later releases. If
it appears in 1.1RC4, it remains a bug. If it doesn't, it's fixed.
That's what the bug reports are for. Bugs in early releases are bugs
in early releases, but the development team works on changes to
improve the system and correct bugs. Their results will be in future
releases.

This seems to be a bug in the number recognition and number format
recognition within tables, when using user-defined formats.
In OOo 1.0.2 (GNU/Linux) the dates appear as intended, using a
user-defined date format of DD.MM.YY.
When the same file is opened in OOo 1.1 Beta, the user-defined date
format is correct, however some of the dates have been converted to be
30.12.99, which is the sample date in the number format dialog box.
Opening the file again in OOo 1.1 RC4, the user-defined date format is
lost (defaulting to DD/MM/YY) and some of the dates (the same ones as
in 1.1 Beta) are converted to the sample date of 30/12/99.
