Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 15907
OOo 1.1 RC does not start, want to be repaired
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:53:51 UTC
Hi, OOo 1.1 RC does not start. It calls setup instead and offers repair of the installation. The problem is in ${EVAL} in .sversionrc and bootstraprc. Removing ${EVAL} from profile.scp solved the problem. Is this the right solution? What was the purpose of ${EVAL} there? --- ooo_11rc_src.orig/scp/source/office/profile.scp Sun Jun 22 12:35:02 2003 +++ ooo_11rc_src/scp/source/office/profile.scp Sun Jun 22 12:39:33 2003 @@ -89,7 +89,7 @@ Order = 1; Styles = (INSTALL_INFO); ModuleID = GID_MODULE_ROOT; - Key = "%PRODUCTNAME %PRODUCTVERSION ${EVAL}"; + Key = "%PRODUCTNAME %PRODUCTVERSION"; Value = "<workpath_url>"; End
Hi, Adding myself to CC on this. Kevin
To be a little more explicit: Works fine on standalone install but fails with -net / workstation install.
Hi Martin, please have a look.
Hi Ingo, I think this one is for you. Martin

IS: This bug is double with i15761. Therefore it is already fixed in cws setup12b. I added the variable ${EVAL} for our evaluation versions. For OpenOffice.org this has to be replaced by nothing (defined in the instsetoo/util/openoffice.lst) during the creation of the installation set. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 15768 ***
IS: This bug is double with 15761, not with 15768!
commited to ooo11rc.
Because i15761 is fixed for a long time, I close this bug.
