Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 15935
Printer builtin fonts with GB2312 encoding don't work
Last modified: 2003-08-05 11:38:21 UTC
e.g. MKaiGB-Medium font gets substituted by Andale Sans UI.
working on it ...
fixed in vcl13
pl->us: to verify this you need MKaiGB-Medium.afm (font metric for printer builtin font) and LOPT610.PS (printer description for printer containing the font). Caution: in the standard installation there already is a "Lexmark Optra T610 Laser Printer" which does NOT contain MKaiGB-Medium; please be sure to select the right one (simple way: remove the other before copying). After this you letters that are contained in MKaiGB-Medium, these should be use directly in the PostScript output (converted to GBK encoding), other Kanji should be substituted by Andale Sans UI (sample document available). All needed files are on /tausch/pl for your convenience
setting to fixed in order to verify it.
Verified.
OK in OOo RC2 (srx645_m13s2.8662). Closing Issue.
