I have read about (and tried) changing the Andale Sans UI font for the UI.

WIth the beta it doesn't seem possible to change the font, or it doesn't change
anyway???

Well it should work. At least it does for me. 2 things:

If all you want is changing the UI font to the font you
normally use on your desktop, you can try the following
preference:

Options->OpenOffice.org->Accessibility->Use system font for UI.

If you want to change it in the fonts dialogue, please note that
you have to check "Apply replacement table" and you have to
add "Andale Sans UI" to the list of the replaced fonts.
And you have to tick the checkbox in front of it. Then
it should work.

HTH
/ralph -- if it works for you, please close this issue!

jimfrost, as long as you don't provide a clear description of what
you're doing, and what goes wrong, this issue is of no use to anybody,
sorry.
In the current shape, your question could be raised on
users@openoffice.org.
