where: 
using a mixed environement with german / english version

what:
turn %mu into %muy

how:
1) writing the greek character %mu in the german version
2) past the formular into a document
3) save the document
4) open that formular with the english version
5) sometimes %mu changes into %muy and thus is displayed as "%muy" and not 
as "µ"

Are you sure, that you are using OO 1.1 Beta2?
The problem you describe happens with OO 1.0.x and is already fixed
with OO 1.1 Beta.
