Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1644
Issuezilla 'QA contact' is 'bugs@<project>' instead of 'issues@<project>'
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:32 UTC
With infrastructure upgrade to SC, the 'bugs@<project>' mailing list have been renamed to 'issues@<project>'. While the archives have been successfully migrated, issuezilla's 'QA contact' field has not. It still points to 'bugs@<project>' instead of 'issues@<project>'. Thus issues reported after migration to SC do not appear on the new 'issues@<project>' mailing lists.
In randomly checking various subcomponents, I note that all of them are issues@ (you can see this for yourself with this issue, above). In any event, domain admins can configure this field if it is incorrect in various projects. Stefan, how would you like me to handle this one? I would mark it as WORKSFORME unless you think there is another problem.
The form used when submitting a new issue against the 'ucb' component does not show a field 'QA contact'. This can be seen only after the issue is submitted and has the value 'bugs@ucb.openoffice.org'. So this field is implicitely supplied from internal issuezilla 'knowledge' outside my scope. Or is there any chance for me to adjust that myself (I'm no domain administrator just 'simple' project lead :-).
I have changed the QA contact for UCB to issues@ucb.openoffice.org. Not sure why this one stayed 'bugs.' Closing. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
