check http://www.openoffice.org/issues/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=7627 for the
bugdoc. When in MSword the pictures do not overlap and in costant size and
order. The OOo opens them distortly and some images overlap the others.

Hmm, I see all sorts of old code that tries to hold onto writer
specific formatting in rtf by using custom keywords. Its a bit of a
mess. This was a rtf exported by writer which uses writer specific
"extensions" (a very bad idea methinks) to rtf

2003, I can't see any picture. Could you please assist me in re-creating the error.

You might want to check the ISSUE 24255, their bug fix related to a lot of
objects, I think he might realted to the pictures.
