Description lyle 2003-07-18 01:57:20 UTC
For some reason, since I installed WinXP (fresh install), OpenOffice crashes
my system (system completely locks up) when I try to open the Wordprocessor.
Also, when I try to open a Word document, I get garbled text on the screen,
then maybe my machine will or will not crash. I did install the program on my
D: drive (which I set up to be my default install drive), but I do not thinks
this should be an issue. Do you know what may be causing this. The previous
version also crashed, so I tried to install 1.1RC to no avail. Win98 had no
problems installing or working on my machine (previous version).

Found that the problem is with my dual-monitor system. When I
disable the second monitor, the program works fine. Please verify
and if possible fix this issue. Thanks.

WinXP default drivers."
