Description brandy007 2003-07-22 13:08:26 UTC
when exporting a large HTML Document to PDF, the PDF document contains one large
page. It would be better to lay out the HTML page to a certain paper size before
exporting to PDF.

There is no good and cheap way to generate PDF files from HTML but OO does it
very well and very precisily.
It would be a milestone for developers to use OO as a PDF generator server.

Besides the missing page breaks, the generated PDF file depends on the screen
size of the OpenOffice window at the time the PDF export was started. This is
not what I would expect. It would be better to choose a page size and "print"
the document onto pages with respect to the document's font sizes.
