Product Requirement
Database access functionality should be added in the Menu section.

Customer Need/Problem
Need a better front-end to access the data source administration menu.
Currently it is not very easy to find the DBA. It is accessible via the
Tools->Data Source menu from a toolbar and can only access it by opening a document.

Product Concept
Together with the new user interface we which will implement to fulfill item
Database-4, we will add a File | New | Database... menu item. Though this,
speaking strictly, is semantically incorrect (as StarOffice mainly knows data
sources, not databases), it showed that this is the place where people
(especially people trained by Microsoft Office) look for database functionality
first. When this menu item is chosen, the database application will be opened
(or raised, if already open), and a dialog offering various choices how to
proceed will be started. This will solve the problem people have in finding the
database access functionality in StarOffice. See also items Database-11, Database-4
