Description grsingleton 2003-07-28 18:33:48 UTC
Most html files include <title> OpenOffice.org </title>. Unfortunately this
makes bookmarking next to impossible and also affects the creation of a sitemap.
I have prepared a sitemap that I have MANUALLY modified to be useful.
(http://pathtech.org/openoffice/sitemap0.html) I would recommend that html
programmers use an EXPLICIT meta tag to ease usage.

resolving later.
SourceCast 1.1.3 which we use now doesn't allow for titles as we use the same
<head> for all pages. However the upgrade may resolve this.

We'll find out soon.

Yes, I was aware but noticed other complaints. Now there is an issue.
Any feedback on what you want with the sitemap?

I provided a fair amount of feedback on the map to this list. to
summarize, I liked the list but I would prefer, for usability, a map
that is logical and thematic rather than linear and comprehensive.

Thus:
User Links
    General information
    How-tos
    Documentation
    Participation

Developer
    General
    SDK
    Etc.
For developer we can use Erwin's developer page, website.ooo/developer/

for the user, it's not just a map of www/www project, which I can
easily create using source browsing; it is rather a map of useful
objects in the OOo domain. I think using google would be one way of
doing this, too; I also have, by now, many useful links. they just
need to be organized.

(for google on Ooo see http://support.openoffice.org/search.html)
