Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1870
User can't change language layout.
Last modified: 2003-06-19 08:28:52 UTC
How to Produce: 1. Set 'Tools/Options/Language Settings/Languages/Asian languages support' --> Enabled 2. Set 'Tools/Options/Language Settings/Languages/Asian' --> Chinese (traditional) 3. Set 'Tools/Options/Languages Settings/Asian Layout/First and last characters/Language' --> Chinese (traditional) When press 'OK' and check if settings is functional, the last changed is invalid. The setting of 'Tools/Options/Languages Settings/Asian Layout/First and last characters/Language' is 'Chinese (simplified)' still. User can't change this setting.
'Tools' here rather means 'build tools' and refers more widely to build problems. I guess localisation may know an answer and shift this issue to l10n... armin
(forgot to re-assign while switchin to l10n)
DL->OS: I think it's your task
The selection of a language in the "Forbidden characters" section of the dialog has no effect to the document. Always the "Forbidden characters" setting of the appropriate language is used. But in version 641e and above the preselected language is the one selected as language of locale settings (if it's a CJK locale). See feature mail in allfeatures@openoffice.org (Tools/Options/Languages/Asian layout/First and last characters: ListBox preselected)
