What exactly is "Office" software? I believe it may be a misnomer with wrong 
connotations - My definition is that "It is software that enables you to use 
your computer at home, school, college or establishment of any type including 
commercial business for general functions such as writing, performing 
calculations and working with audio-visuals. Audio-visuals may be combinations 
of drawings, graphs and pictures including sound, music and speech too. It may 
be used for personal,family, private or public use"

As such, limiting it with the word "office" is a misnomer. Historically the 
computer and such functions were in the domain of commercial and other 
establishment 'offices only and hence the word office software is a carry 
over from the past. 

I believe there will be need for more meaningful words to describe this package 
for "application productivity and creativity package" for diverse and universal 
use. This if slowly introduced now would be a marked edge over others that are 
mere "office" suites.
