Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 189
STATS - microsoft.com domain stats
Last modified: 2004-10-31 17:31:19 UTC
Susan Grabau would like to know how many downloads are comming from microsoft.com. The Akamai reporter doesn't support this filtering; I will contact our Akamai rep and find out about the stats. --goolz ********************** Date: Wed, 22 Nov 2000 11:12:46 -0800 (PST) From: Michelle Milledge <Michelle.Milledge@eng.sun.com> To: Bill.Roth@eng.sun.com, goolie@collab.net Subject: Re: Data from weekly reports Adam & Bill, I have also had another request from Susan Grabau to know how many of our downloads are from the microsoft.com domain. Can we discuss whether this is possible? I think it would be interesting to know...for instance, if half the downloads are from microsoft.com then our download stats look a little different...as a former employee, I think Susan just wants to know whether they're up to anything. -Michelle

This functionality will be available in late January: Date: Thu, 30 Nov 2000 10:11:19 -0800 From: "Leschin, Francesca" <fleschin@akamai.com> To: 'Adam Gould' <goolie@collab.net> Subject: RE: Data from weekly reports (fwd) We are coming out with a new service called SiteWise which would give you the information you are looking for, i.e. able to determine which URL their clients are referred from but the product won't be out until end of January. I can send you a draft of the service description but remember it's only a draft. Let me know if you would like to see it. Thanks and sorry for the delay...francesca
I think this is unnecessarily complicating things. Could someone do a "grep microsoft" on the list of email addresses that are subscribed to all OOO lists? I think that would do the trick. Also, make sure you assign this issue, since when you leave it as New it looks bad in the reports. br
I just searched our discuss and announce mailing list subscriber list and turned up no microsoft domain hits.
Our Akamai rep has told us that this functionality is not currently available, but should be by late January. I will reopen this issue when we hear the this functionality has been implimented.
reopening to close as invalid...
resolving as won't fix
