Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18919
throw away <Close> button in dialogs and add a <Delete> context menu entry into event view
Last modified: 2008-05-16 08:58:23 UTC
There is no use to have a <Close> button within the dialogs. If the user changes nothing then the dialog should not create an event within the event view even when closed by the <save & close> button. On the other hand it would be useful to have a <Delete> entry within the right mouse button "context menu" to delete events JA: tested in CVS version 1.4
The close button on the event/todo edit dialog is like a cancel button in other dialogs, i.e. if user realize that he/she make a wrong change to the event/task, he/she can just "close" the dialog, nothing will hapeen to the event/task. The context menu will be added later, and delete will be certainly one of its item.
