Description lars 2003-09-03 07:37:39 UTC
include last worked on documents in quickstarter

AND

the command "open last 3 worked on documents"

for the purpose of open these documents faster.

If Quickstarter is enabled then, do not send opened OOo documents as links to
Windows Recent Files.

If "open last 3 worked on documents" is clicked a second time: open the next 3
last worked on documents, so in total the 6 last worked on documents and so on.

TM->BH: Please have a look, thanks !
Comment 2 lars 2003-09-03 09:27:32 UTC
this features usefullness justifies a P2
Comment 3 lars 2003-09-05 01:45:09 UTC
allow the user to select the double-click on quickstarter icon
behaviour like launch Writer, open last opened file or bring last
active OOo window to front.

thanks, Lars

I'm changing components of some issues to ui ui from framework ui; am
I right in doing so? not all: it'd be too much. Also I clarified some
types from Feature to Enhancement
Comment 5 stefan.baltzer 2003-09-08 12:00:18 UTC
SBA->Lars: Please avoid changing components. It results in
re-assigning issues to QA folks, thus resulting in more work to
re-reasign the issues. Feel free to add comments instead. Thanks for
your comprehension.
Reassigned to Bettina.

Ok

I think we also need to consider that quick starter already very heavy
now.
we didnt want to add something which make it more heavier
Comment 8 lars 2003-09-20 11:50:56 UTC
quickstarter is not feature-heavy: it only provides shortcuts to OOos
apps. Showing the last worked on document and the possibility to open
several of these simultaneously adds the 1st feature after its reason
for existence (the shortcuts).
Comment 9 lars 2003-09-20 12:21:50 UTC
you could have 2 columns when opening quickstarters context menu:

one left which is the current menu and one which shows the document
list on the right
Comment 10 lars 2003-09-20 12:35:35 UTC
I mixed up right ad left, oops

the current menu should become the right column and teh doc listhe left
Comment 11 flibby05 2005-01-21 22:47:33 UTC
with the new quickstarter design for version 2.0 it will not be possible to
include "last worked documents"..

Thanks for the feedback.

Lowering Issue priority...

From: http://qa.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority
P2 - Marks severe problems which affect a significant number of customers.
Issues with this priority must be fixed before the target release ... and should
be dealt with as soon as possible. Not fixing them for the target release is not
acceptable.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
