Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1913
project specific issue/bug-lists are not posted to allbugs
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:32 UTC
take todays openoffice.sw.bugs and try to find them in openoffice.allbugs -> nada :-(
Reassigning the issue to myself for investigation. Kat
and the allbugs list gets polluted by foreign posters ! see postings 6973, 7022, 7030, 7031 and 7033
Hi, Issue pcn6138 has been entered internally to address this. What seems to be happening at the moment is that allbugs is receiving posts from older issues where the qa contact is bugs@project but not from newer issues with the qa contact of issues@project. It is also not acting as a sublist because as you mention it is accepting posts from outside sources. As progress is made on this issue I will keep you updated. Thank you Kat
We can add allbugs as a proper ezmlm sublist to collect posts from the various issues@ lists, however this will stop the posts coming from the 203 still active issues with bugs@ in the QA contact field. This will also stop the spam that has been reaching the list. The contact can be updated to issues@ for these issues with a one time deluge of email, or can stay unchanged with the remaining bugs@ issues being left off of the list. Please let us know if you have a preference. Thank you Kat
> The contact can be updated to issues@ for these issues Yes, please. I would accept the one time mailing. May be it helps to fix these problems :-)
Hi, The QA contact has been updated from bugs@ to issues@ for all active bugs (those with state NEW, STARTED, REOPENED) to minimize the mail outgoing. The allbugs list has also been created as a sublist and is receiving these posts. Thank you Kat
Any further action needed? Otherwise set status to "Resolved".
No further action from my point of view. Resolving. Kat
As agreed by Louis I will close these resolved fixed kat (support)-owned issues now. If you have trouble with that, please re-open the issue.
