MRU->CMC: simple table at first sight. There are too many columns
after import (not really visible, but you can travel through the
table) and their widths are too large.
Comment 5 caolanm 2003-09-24 12:56:47 UTC
Accepted anyway.
Comment 6 m9715936 2004-02-24 10:46:59 UTC
Another issue with tables in rtf, probably related:

http://chef.studentenweb.org/OO/wrongTables.rtf

the columns get mixed up, as does the numbering.
It should look like this:
http://chef.studentenweb.org/OO/wrongTables.pdf

The Word document format gets imported correctly
http://chef.studentenweb.org/OO/wrongTables.doc

screenshots of OO / Word can be found at :
http://chef.studentenweb.org/OO/

Because of a shortage of resources we're not able to promise to fix this issue
for OOo 2.0

Hi,
My Software Config : Windows XP SP2, OpenOffice.org 1.1.3
My Hardware Config : Mobile AMD Athlon 1.20Gz 256MB RAM

Confirm replication of bug.

Applied the following test cases

Test1 : Tried to create an rtf file with a table and some values, using
OpenOffice and then open the file again in OpenOffice
Result : Successfully opened.

Test 2 : create the same in MSOffice Word XP and then open with OpenOffice.
Result : Successfully opened.

Test 3 : Test 2 + out on some borders for the table and then save the file in
Word and open in OpenOffice
Result : Failed.

Conclusion : I think the problem arises when some border is put on top of the
table. The table.rtf file had a border on the table, hence it didn't work.
Without the border, it opened fine.
