Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19249
OOo address book connection with Evolution doesn't handle e-mail list entries
Last modified: 2017-05-20 09:35:59 UTC
Hi all, The Evo address connection doesn't seem to be able to import Lists of E-mail addresses that can be defined in the Evo Contacts. For instance, I had defined several department lists such as MRTIP, MRTBusDev, MRTComDir, each having a list of e-mail addresses. THese appear in OOo DSB grid view as XML tags <?xml version=\1.0\"?><destination html_mail=\"no\"><email>some.name@some-address.fr</email></destination>" where in fact only the first e-mail address of the list is shown. removing dependency to issue 21783 (which is the ms interop tracking bug) - I don't think this is an interop issue. If somebody re-introduces the dependency, please next time justify it.
Hi, I can reproduce this. Set target and send to the right developer. Bye Marc

fs->bjia: assigning to your team. Not sure, though, if this can be fixed for 2.0, given the current architecture of our evo integration.
I know this issue. Currently we do not process List of Emails. This enhancement needs some work in Evolution exporter to add structure for List of Emails and improve evoab to analysis this structure. Another thing need to consider is that how do we display List of Emails on UI. We need to adapt them to the view(table/grid) on UI or add specific display component for the List. Mozilla Address book has the same problem, which is in Wind Li's bug list. I think we can fix this Evolution integration bug as the same time Wind fixs Mozilla related bug for Mail List if Wind has time. Wind, reassign it to you.

Berry, I suppose you refer to issue 21912? This is nearly solved by Wind, so all which is left here is mainly the adjustments to the Evolution exporter.
