Germanophones are one of largest usergroups of OOo and most of OOo's developers 
are germanophones. Yet there is little integration of the users and 
consequently little connection to developers of OOo. A lang.de project shall 
serve as platform to connect germanophone developers and users to the OOo 
project by providing forums of communication on code, bugs and news related to 
OOo.

Phase 1: Evaluation of quantity and quality of participants
phase 2: definition of mission statement
phase 3: Analysis of lang.fr experiment results
phase 4: adaptation of lang.de to the findings of phase 3
phase 5: assignement of technical responsabilities by OOo community management
phase 6: implementation
phase 7: monthly feedback

CURRENT STATE:

- approval of community for lang.de project: status = ok
- sites composed/translated: status = 70%
- technical capability to handle the site by project owners: status 0%

The German lang-Module was a success and has been 
transformed into a project of its own, 
http://de.openoffice.org , as most of you know. Closing.

I think, this was rather a task than a defect. And it can be closed as fixed ;-)
