Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19499
pasting text into a new document set paragraphstyle to caret positions Style
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
There are 3 defects which I can't reproduce consistently but but which I want you to be aware because they do exist: - some hyperlinks to bookmarks have parts in them whÃch when clicked move the document not to the bookmark but to an other unrelated position - the default style for hyperlinks is underscored but some bookmarks when created do not receive an underscore - the last paragraph of pasted text (rtf) receives the format which was active at the caret position where the pasting was executed
Please try to find way how to reproduce the problem. if your problem only sometimes happend we have difficulty to confirm it is real problem or not. Please come back with more information. Thanks
concentrating on the 3rd: - take the attached demo file, - open it, - open a new Writer instance, - select font type Andale Sans in the new Writer instance, - copy the text from the demo file, - paste it into the empty Writer instance: voilá: the mentioned defect the last line has the font Andale Sans; it would also be hyperlinked if the carets format was hyperlinked and so on.
Created attachment 9265 [details] demo file
another issue which I can't reproduce in a fresh document but in a document I'm working on but for which I'm too lazy to remove the superfluous information to attach it: inserting cross-references to illustratios changes illustration numbering and while "undo" undoes the cross-reference insertion it doesn't undo the changed illustration numbering.
and yet another thing: concerning bullets: in my infamous Writer document newly inserted bullets in an auto- numbered list are right-justified inside their grey "auto-field" thus directly touching adjacent characters. this shouldn't be and reverts itself after save and load operation to left-justified inside the grey auto-fields
Sorry I didnt have andale ( I use default font). in my OOo, it is detected as thorndale. but I cannot select thorndale in new writer. sorry cannot help to try Please break one problem in one issuzill. I know it is little bit difficult, but it maybe will fix faster.
reassigned to jw
where you get Andale Sans fonts ? I didnt have in RC4, Win XP
Andale Sans either came with Windows 98 SE or I got it from StarOffice 6 beta but you can choose any font pasting paragraphs will format the last paragraph of the pasted text in the format which was last active at the position you started to paste at eg: - open the attached file - copy all text - open a new Writer window - set font type to "bold" there - click teh paste icon - teh last paragraph of teh to be pasted text is bold
hello lars please open a issue for each bug. i know this is sometimes a lot of work, but if we can confirm any of this bugs and every bug must be reassigned to a different developer we can not split them or set this at duplicate or fixed if any of the buga is known or fixed. i will change the summery of this issue to: pasting text into a new document set paragraphstyle to caret positions Style reassigned to fme set status to new set target to office later
