When i try to use certain characters they do not display correctly.
Example
=  will look like a - sign
braces { and } do not seem to appear when using lbrace and rbrace

If i zoom in on the page it's there but on a normal size view they look 
awkward.  If I do "{" or "=" they look correct.

Test Data

Try  lbrace x = 1 rbrace

duplicate. Only display of characters is wrong on windows, printout is
OK, see issue 16470 for a new version of the font that improves the
look on screen.
