Description Unknown 2003-09-15 09:32:36 UTC
I have a crash which I can reproduce without problem and which occurs at a
defined place in my code, if I use the API !
The crash appear if i create a table with more of 64 rows. I save my doc, then I
reopen the doc and if i want re-save the doc : OpenOffice make a segmentation
fault or bus error or core dump.

I give you an example of my application which will allow you to test the crash!
You will find Readme to test the program and to see the problem!

Best Regards,

Thomas

Tomas Forey: where is the example code? We need in as an attachment to

Sounds like an implementation issue in Writer, please assign it to

OpenOffice 1.1.1 has been released.
Could you please retry if the problem still exists with this build?

Mike Cardillo 9/22/04

I was attempting to replicate this bug on my windows 2000 system using open
office 1.1.2 doing these steps (in spreadsheet):

1: entering 64 inputs, all in the same column
2: going back up to the 1st row, 1st column and right clicked the cell
3: selected insert row -> shift down
4: save file with any name/anywhere
5: exit out of the program

Following these steps I received this error: Error saving the document
file:///C:/Program%20Files/OpenOffice.prg1.1.2/user/basic/dialog.xlc/: General
Error. General input/output error.

Is this the same problem you are having? I tried to follow your directions as
best I could, and this is what I came up with.

I tried reproducing this bug on 2 other computers. One running linux openoffice
1.1.0 and another running windows XP using 1.1.2 and was unable to reproduce
this bug on either.
