Audit Log doesn't work anymore

Clicking on Audit Log from the Admin links leads to a timeout. Seems that it got too large.
This has been entered internally (pcn6239) as a request to trim old entries from the log to enable it to load properly. Thank you Kat

We've fixed it again. Our developers report that in SC1.2 or later, this is no longer a problem.

Updating Whiteboard. This issue is addressed in 2.0 and all subsequent and related releases.

Are you cutting down the audit log in the meantime by hand from time to time?
Re-opened internal issue to get the audit log trimmed again. Will update tomorrow (10/30/02) and discuss with the operations group some type of routine to do this until an upgrade occurs.
The operations group is working on cutting the log down now, but experiencing some problems. Will update by the end of day 11/01/02.
The engineers were able to cut down the log, but it seems it was not enough of a pruning. Action Plan: Reopen internal issue asking for a more thorough trim. timeframe: Expect a response by 11/06/02.
Queried an engineer on getting the log trimmed and queried another engineer about a patch to the "audit log view" process so we would not have to trim the log any further while on this release of SC. Action Plan: Press for details on the patch and, in the meantime, trim the log again. Timeframe: Will update the issue by 11/08/02.
We have trimmed the log again, but it is still not showing in my browser. We are in the process of creating a patch to the code which will allow the audit log to be viewed no matter the size. Action Plan: Drive the patch process. Timeframe: Will update by 11/12/02.
Update: We have a patch created to fix this once and for all on this release of CollabNet sourcecast. Action Plan: Ensure the patch gets implemeted as soon as it has completed the QA cycle. Timeframe: Update issue by 11/18/02.
Update: the patch is in the queue for the finishing touches. once it is reviewed it will be ready to be applied. Timeframe: I will update this issue by 11/22/02
I have no update on this issue at this time, however, I have requested more information on an ETA from engineering and will update this issue by 12/4/02
The patch we have for this is in our support queue with the engineers to be applied this week. I will update this issue by 12/12/02.
