MRU->US: Looks like a font replacement problem on Linux. Sounds like a regression, should be done for 1.1.1.
Tested the bugdoc on SuSE Linux and RH9. SuSE displays the document perfect. RH9 has minor problems with some latin 2 characters. I'd suggest to do a font replacement to map "Times" to "Nimbus Roman No9 L". Then also RH9 displays the document perfect. But I never encounterd a behaviour like shown in the screenshot. =>"WORKSFORME" @submitter: pls. state what Linux you are using. Thanks.
Closing Issue; because: we had a deeper look at this issue and were able to reproduce it with a RedHat 7.2. Additionally we found out that for the text in question "ult1mo Times New Roman, bold" was used, which claimed to be scalable. But this font is obviously corrupted as also xfontsel failed to display the font.
