I can Reproduce the problem on OpenOffice 1.1 (default Install, US), Win XP Pro Sp1. (And MS Office XP Sp2). It is real problem Text position is not correctly displayed in OOo But I cannot find whare is the text bex, and what image ?
Created attachment 10050 [details] A screenshot - of how it should look like
There is an image of a birthday girl sitting in the bottom right corner, with a purple frame, and a cake with baloons on the bottom left corner. The text itself is inside a textbox floating on top of the image. in OOo you can see the text only, and an icon of a "broken image" on the top left corner of the document. The file opens just fine in MS Word 97. (attached a screenshot) Hope this helps

yes, thanks, now I can find it. I create screenshot in OOo with some note in ther to explain where is the text missing, ETC.
set target to OOo Later reassigned to mru
The frame position will be corrected in OO 2.0. Frame anchors are handled a bit defferently in OO and adjustments in Writer's Layout are reworked for OO 2.0. MRU->CMC: For you, only the z-order of the graphic and the textbox are left.
Gotcha, z ordering fixed in kilkennyfilterteam14 for 2.0
reopen to reassign
cmc->mru: good z-order in kilkennyfilterteam14
checked fix in CWS kilkennyfilterteam14.
Verified. Fix will be included in OO 2.0.
Checked with OO 2.0 snapshot build 680m35. Closed.
