Description mporta 2003-10-16 20:41:50 UTC
I've a word .doc document that, when imported into OOo 1.1 uses more pages that
ms office, so I have to waste a lot of time rearranging the various parts of my
document. I think that OOo should use almost exactly the same pages as ms word.
Thanks.

MRU->CMC: On the first page, there are some problems with the tab stop
positions which leads to expansion of the text and moving the table on
the bottom of page 1 to page two. These have already been fixed for OO
2.0 (checked with CWS kilkennyfilterteam14).

MRU->CMC: The style "Contents 2" has got "Paragraph spacing above" of
0,42 cm after import, which make the TOC spreading over two pages.

cmc->mru: In word update the TOC and choose update entire table and it
displays with the same extra spacing of content 2 as we show in writer.

Not a problem of the import. The TOC in the .doc just isn't updated. You have to
do it manually in WW.
Comment 7 michael.ruess 2004-01-21 16:21:12 UTC
Closed, because not "fixable" in OO.
