Description Unknown 2003-10-22 15:16:49 UTC
If an "Animation Effect: Effect" is applied to a Textbox, the Effect is
performed on each single line. This would be the expected behaviour for
"Animation Effect: Text Effects".

Explenation: I want to show a slide section-by section. I often have a some
Sections on a slide. Each with Heading "Outline 1" and some sub-points "Outline
2". Now I want the whole Section to appear at once. Therefore I made a
Text-Frame for each Section and applied the "Appear" Effect.
But now I have to press a key for each new line in the Text-Frame, which is
confusing for the audience.

I will try to attach an example.

See the coffee.sxi

Start the slideshow and press a key:
Each subpoint (Make sure...) appears only after pressing a key. It is
not possible to show the whole frame at once.

Hi bettina
I think SebKoerner is right.
When I use a 'normal' text object the behaviour is correct.
Why is there a difference between a 'normal' text object and an
outline text object.

This is fixed in version 2.0. An animation attached to an outline text box
applies to the text box as a whole now. Close as fixed.
