I installed OOo1.1  on redhat 8.0 , the arabic fonts are installed, when I
switch to arabic ctrl+shift+D,( in wordprocesseur ) the writing is from right to
 left but , the fonts are not displayed, and there are not appropriate fonts in
the list menu

did you add your arabic fonts via spadmin (found in the oo program directory)?

did you have Java installed ? what fonts do you have installed ? Do you see them
in the font list box ?

please understand that without any further information we will soon have to
close this issue.
