Description utomo99 2003-10-27 08:00:23 UTC
When capslock is ON, autoformatting didn't working correctly.
example:
Capslock is ON (and we didnt realize it)
we want to write "Something", what we type is sOMETHING, but OOo didnt correct it.
OOo replace it to SOMETHING (all capslock), it is not correct, because user want
first char is different with others it must be changed to Something, and turn
off the Capslock.

It is correctly working on MS Word

SBA: Autocorrect is my area... Reassigned to me.
Comment 4 stefan.baltzer 2003-11-07 15:10:11 UTC
SBA: Not a defect but an enhancement=> Changed type.
Not AutoFORMAT, but AutoCORRECT => Changed summary.

MS Word goes even further and RELEASES the Keyboards Caps-Lock after
the described ccapitalisation at the beginning of a sentence took place.
Reassigned to Bettina.

SBA: Not a defect but an enhancement=> Changed type.
Not AutoFORMAT, but AutoCORRECT => Changed summary.
At times, Writer only corrects one character at the beginning of a
sentence.
MS Word goes even RELEASES the Keyboards Caps-Lock after the described
capitalisation correction in the middle of the sentence. Cool ;-)

Reassigned to Bettina.
