Description goa103 2003-11-14 21:27:47 UTC
Hello,

It seems I can't update a Graphics Hyperlink URL when the URL is an "online"
URL, not a link to a file. I select the graphics from my document, right click
and click Graphics from the dropdown menu. Then the Graphics dialog box popup. I
click Browse from the Hyperlink tab and OOo just crashed and displays a debug
window (because Visual C++ is installed).

I tried it on 2 articles I got from the web. The article is "offline" but its
graphics are linked to online resources. These resources are not JPEG files but
HTML pages : http://www.gamekult.com/tout/jeux/images/ME0000391501 . Maybe the
Browse feature awaits a graphics file and not an URL. Anyway I can provide you
with the documents to try them with your own OOo.

I use OOo Writer 1.1.0 under Windows 2000 Pro.

Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test
it/faster to confirm.
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more
time)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is
small, but we still able to see the problem.

Test it with the HTML page I zipped, select the first graphics, top
right. When you click the Browse button from the hyperlink tab, OOo
should crash. I also joined a screenshot.

I already try to open the file using OOo 1.1.
I click the picture (right top)
it will open the mozilla browser and all is OK. is that what you do to
reproduce the problem ?
I didnt understand
"When you click the Browse button from the hyperlink tab,"
What is your default browser ?

utomo > Jean-Marc Molina:
I repeat my question;
what is your browser, is that Internet explorer ? which version ?
do you have crash report ? if yes please attach it.
Thanks

> what is your browser

Sorry I skipped your question but I already mentionned that I used Mozilla
Firebird (v0.7), to save the document and to browse the web.

> do you have crash report ?

Nothing, no crash report to Sun that time, it only crashes.

I'm sorry... I don't think it really helps. I can only provide you with the
archive (document + screenshot) and the information I gave in my first post (OS,
OOo version...).
