thencode is quite verbose and generates some "false hits" finding errors in the
log.  The attached patch reduces the verbosity of the code but allows the code
to to switch it back on with the -v switch.

I did not use getopts to ensure easy portability.

This is no longer required on 2.0 due to change in way this is handled.

Yes the entire thesarus parser code has been removed for OOo 2.0. 
If you want I can still apply it to fix2?
