Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23173
sc26 staging site not recognizing <td align="center">
Last modified: 2006-02-14 18:37:58 UTC
All info on http://es.solstage2.sfo.collab.net/index.html is left adjusted on the index.html; all centering is ignored. There are a few images and text that is centered in the upper portion of the page, using <td align="center"> which seems to be ignored on the sc26 staging site. Compare this to http://es.openoffice.org/index.html Screenshots attached. Thanks, Richard.

Richard, does ES use local style sheets? or just plain centering?, eg, <center> louis
Just plain centering, I'd call it. The page begins as follows: <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td align="center"> <br> <a href="programa/index.html">[ Descarga el <img src="images/ooo-1.1-officesuite-right.png" width="300" height="90" border="0" align="middle" alt="Haz 'clic' para descargar el programa en la versión en Español"> libre y gratis para todos ]<br> ¡OOo110 = OOo11rc5! para Windows, Linux, Solaris</a> <br> etc. There is no local CSS. That will have to come later, when someone has a site I can copy from to study and learn. saludos, Richard.
assigning to beril Beril, can you see what it is that is causing this problem? It seems to be an effect of the styles on sc26. thanks Louis
Richard, please let us know if the problem is still relevant. If yes, please reassign to support. Thanks, Stefan
Stefan, I worked around the problem on es.OOo once I got access again. Actually, I saw something, don't remember where, that this issue is by design in SourceCast. The issue should be closed, so I will close it. If anyone else still has a problem, they may reopen at will. Thanks for the helpful words. Richard.
Let's close old, resolved isssues...
