Description frank 2003-12-10 10:19:33 UTC
If you click on e.g. the Priority link, a new window opens but no content is seen.

Checked with IE and NS 7.1

I can confirm this problem everytime I use the new OOo website on Win 98SE with
Mozilla 1.4 on all links that say "Note: link may open in new window" (like in
the Help section). But on IE 6, the new windows are blank after I login. So, it
is very true ... the link *MAY* open in new window. Majorly limits
functionality of website. I thought about bumping this up to Priority 1 but I
can't even read the description!

Another user was annoyed with the new windows popping up so he filed Issue
23320. I wish I could have that problem....

I am changing the Summary from "All description links on Issue Input / Viewing
page are leading to empty pages", because I am having this problem on this whole
website.

Also, I noticed the new browser windows have different amounts of content, but
always appear as blank. When I have viewed the source code I have seen:
1. Absolutely nothing
2. <HTML><BODY></BODY></HTML>
3. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD>
<BODY><PRE></PRE></BODY></HTML>

For me with both IE and Mozilla the problem has been fixed.
fst, do you still have your original problem? Let us know either way and, if it
is working properly now, you can, when making your comments, select Resolve
issue and change the resolution to FIXED. Thanks.

Checked it and it's working now. So I set the resolution to fixed.
