Attached is a simple home-grown .XLS file from Kemet Corp. They probably made a 
unix script make an .xls file adhere to some kind of Excel specification.  
Excel can open the file but not Calc.  

Daniel Rentz is aware of this but I'm official putting in a issue report here.

Hi,

checked it with m56 and got an error. But this seems to be a different one
introduced with m56. Checked with internal m58 and found fixed.

Fixed again. Filter detection missed these Excel file versions.
