Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24149
3D Objects converted to bitmap has opaque white background
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:33:13 UTC
When I converted a grouped collection of text, 3D objects (spheres, cones, cubes), and white lines (going between the 3D objects) to a bitmap, the background of the bitmap was made a solid white. When I used the Eyedropper to make the white background transparent, the white lines were made transparent as well. From my personal experience, in most cases where a group of objects is converted to a bitmap, I'd want the background to be transparent by default (as a matter of fact, it might not even be important to allow that to be changed, because if someone wanted a white square to put their bitmap on over the background, it would be easy enough to draw one... this method would also allow other shapes to be used for the solid background if a rectangle was not desired).
Reassigned to Bettina.
