Description rfmunk 2004-01-12 19:27:33 UTC
Adding connectors to a drawing increases the time required to open the file by
a seemingly exponential amount. A file with 6 connectores takes 4 seconds to
open; 12 connectors takes 8 seconds to open; 13 connectors takes 25 seconds; 14
connectors takes 45 seconds. The file has 18 rectangles with a text label in
each. As I add connectors between the rectangles, the file takes longer and
longer to open. I have some example files but I don't see how to attach them to
this issue entry. Please conntact me if you want them.

Confirmed on 1.1.1a/Linux. Running an AMD XP 2000+ (1.67GHz):
- 6 connectors 3 sec
- 12 connectors 4 sec
- 13 connectors 16 sec
- 14 connectors 33 sec
(Timing done only on attached files.)
