Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 2436
Refresh Problem: Text is Truncated
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:55:44 UTC
Here is the procedure to reproduce the bug: 1. Start OpenOffice Presentation 641b 2. Click on "Format" -> "Modify Layout" 3. Select "Title Slide" 4. Type "Florida Tech" in the bottom Text Box using Font Size 96 5. Click on "Format" -> Page 6. Set Width and Height to 0, Click on "OK" 7. Click on "Yes" when the Message Box appears 8. Text is truncated 9. Click on "Format" -> Page 10. Set the Format field to "Screen" 11. Click on "OK" The Text is truncated, if you move the considered text box, the program doesn't refresh. (It actually refreshes if the user types in the box again)
Hello Dieter, the bug also happenes with all other autolayouts. A refresh (strg-shift-R) does not help, you need to change the focus (i.e. change onto another slide and back). Only save helps in the following case: -Open an Impress (layout = empty), -create a textobject with fontsize 96, -change the paperformat as descriped in point 6. -and change it back as descriped in point 10. -> have a look at the green handles and the frame outside. Only after saving you get that text completely visible again.
