Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24577
OO craches when I create a new parapragh style.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
From the styles window make sure you are viewing paragraph styles. Right-click and select New... I set up my styles one tab at a time from left to right starting with Organizer then move into the back row by select Numberings and then move from one tab left to right. That should do it. Organizer Tab: - I set the next style the same as the style name I just created. - Link with: None
confirmed. ALso on Linux. Seems particularly sensitive to having background changed during definition.
Added myself to cc list
reproducible -> setting crash keyword, confirming Notice that the crash only occurs when you are on the background-tab when clicking OK.
Created attachment 12594 [details] crashdump
I tried this several times with different variations on 680m20 on WinXP, and could not get it to crash. Perhaps the bug was fixed in the new codeline? Matt Needles

Hi Eric, We (fr project) have tested it under 1.1.1 and Windows 98, XP and Linux MDK 9.2 and it seems that the problem is solved, no more crash when you try to reproduce the bug. Kind regards Sophie
I can confirm Sopie's observation on XP us_en
