Description grsingleton 2004-02-07 01:52:02 UTC
Attemtping to export a sxw to docbook froze OOo for a bit then it crashed.
Reports had to be sent to Sun twice before exit. Both reports will be attached.

Comment 4 h.ilter 2004-03-10 12:38:30 UTC
Please provide a bugdoc to reproduce.
Comment 5 jogi 2004-03-10 13:25:01 UTC
Reporter: Need the docbook and the JVM because the external XML filters (XSLT
stylesheets) need Java 1.4.*.
- Changed compinent.
Comment 6 jogi 2004-03-10 13:25:26 UTC
Changed sub component.
Comment 7 jogi 2004-03-10 14:23:41 UTC
Exported under Solaris SPARC with Java 1.4.2 a Writer file to docbook
successfully. Without a bugdocument I will close that issue.
Comment 8 grsingleton 2004-03-10 14:47:18 UTC
jsi closing within 2 hours of request for bug report and documentation is
typical of this process. I have re-opened this issue so that the problem may be
pursued in a proper fashion. To jsi, please do not close without providing an
opportunity for the reporter to respond. 2 hours is not sufficient.
Comment 9 jogi 2004-03-10 14:54:02 UTC
Reporter: We are "talking" about an office application and a report without a
sample document does not make any sense. Your behaviour isn't reproducable and
then the issue is "invalid". If you have further information: Just reopen the
iussue and ADD the further information. Without more information the issue is
and will be INVALID because it does not happen.
Comment 10 grsingleton 2004-03-10 15:12:39 UTC
Time must be given. As a matter of fact a report went to Sun. I see no reason to
close so quickly. If you need to close it please do not use such lame excuses. I
have presumed that the reports that are sent to Sun are also available to QA. If
this is not the case or you can't find the report then you must allow time. @
hours is insufficient.
Comment 11 grsingleton 2004-03-10 15:16:53 UTC
Please explain why the crash reports are insufficient.

Comment 13 grsingleton 2004-03-10 15:26:03 UTC
Be CERTAIN to test only with 1.1.1a. 1.1.1rc no longer causes the crash. I guess
at least one developer knows what he is doing.
Comment 14 jogi 2004-03-11 06:51:26 UTC
I need, everytime, the platform to reproduce it.
Comment 15 jogi 2004-03-11 09:30:04 UTC
The 1.1.1rc version can be seen as a successor of 1.1.1a. The issue has been
detected in the meanwhile and has been fixed. I will close that issue.
Comment 16 jogi 2004-03-11 09:30:22 UTC
Closing.
Comment 17 grsingleton 2004-03-11 15:45:15 UTC
Workforme works for me too, since 1.1.1rc corrects the problem. You need
platform? Pick one. The failure occured under XP Pro and RH9 Linux and since
Issuezilla does not allow you to maek mulitple OS selections, unlike other
similar systems, you, as the bug handler are obliged to either ask for specific
info or read the attachments to see. (they say Linux I386)
