Description Unknown 2001-12-13 05:57:21 UTC
I downloaded 641b for Windows.

On attempting to install I was informed of a missing dll file (msvcp60.dll).

Had to find it on the Net.

Could some part of the the installation install this file (and any other
requried files) if it's required.
Comment 1 Olaf Felka 2001-12-13 09:33:55 UTC
I remember this problem in src638* on Win95 with this C++ runtime
library. Any idea
why this occurs in 641b, could this occure in 641c also?
Comment 2 hennes.rohling 2001-12-13 10:59:59 UTC
The old problem with the stlport appears again. I thought we managed this.
Comment 3 hjs 2001-12-14 15:02:17 UTC
it look like a timing problem of fix/build/pack process. it's fixed in
the german version but still appears in the english installation set.
look for a patch in stlport containing "_NTSDK"...
Comment 4 Unknown 2001-12-14 16:08:46 UTC
I see the patch which adds _NTSDK to the EXTRA_COMMON_FLAGS
in stlport. And it was successfully applied.
What is this going to mean?

Ause, Armin, has this been clarified?
Is the latest 641 (OO641C) msvcp60 clean?
Comment 6 Unknown 2001-12-20 09:54:09 UTC
Ause asked me to check weather I have such a dll on my windows
machine. I found out that I have not, but OOo installs fine without
complaining. Ause, do you have any other idea what could have
caused this problem?
Comment 7 stx123 2002-03-12 18:00:41 UTC
Adrian, which Windows version (Win95, Win98, WinME, WinNT, Win2K) are
you using?
Armin/Ause, is this still an open issue?
Comment 8 Unknown 2002-03-12 18:04:13 UTC
Ause, can you comment on this?

Comment 9 hjs 2002-03-13 11:54:48 UTC
from my side this issue is regarded fixed since oct. 2001. if for any
reason the patch process for stlport on windows fails, it will popup
again.
it can easiely be checked with a dependency tool (e.g. depends.exe
from the mstoolkit) if the stlport of the used build requires the ms
c++ runtime.

Adrain answered:
I have Win-95b with USB & DirectX 7, plus a couple of patches re.
y2k, networking update & winsock2 update.

Adrian, could you please put additional comments in this issue (not
using direct email).
So, we'll (Armin?) check in the upcoming OOo 1.0 Release candidate.
Adrian, would you give the next release a try?
Comment 11 Unknown 2002-04-11 11:52:28 UTC
Ause ensured in the 641d release that the patching works
in stlport. This should have solved this problem.
Adrian, can you confirm this?

Armin, please resolve/fixed.
Adrian, please reopen, if you still have problems with 641d.
