Last modified: 2008-02-26 12:22:34 UTC
PLease provide information as to how one can set up an rss aggergator of weblogs (like seen on say weblogs.java.net) on OpenOffice.org
routing to support. Louis
Filed an internal issue 27059 and will update once the internal issue gets updated. - Priya
The following is the update from the product management: "The RSS utilities used on the Java.net site are actually developed and deployed under special contract with CollabNet and developed through a collaboration with O'Reilly. If the folks at OO want this functionality want this they need to work with us on a special contract (SOW)." -Priya
Assigning to st for visibility.
As you say RSS is an aggregator for linkable content. Pointers for which content would like to see summarized via an RSS?
Several developers now have their blogs. They are aggregated at ooo.ximian.com/planet now.
Integration of an RSS aggregator is on the SourceCast roadmap. Reassigning to support.
This has been planned on Danube release of SC for now. Will update further on any chnages in the target miletsone. Moving this in the Reolved later queue PCN 26866(for internal) Thanks, Priya
From engineer: "We have incorporated RSS capabilities in our announcements tool in Danube (3.5.x). To use it you would use a link of http://RSSTestProject.collab.net/servlets/ProjectNewsList to your RSS reader and get the news items from that project. Also, on Danube systems and later, the help file can be found at this address https://site.org/scdocs/ProjectNews#RSS
To CRM
In the future release we have incorporated the RSS framework to be present for the entire Collabnet Community Edition . Hence moving this issue into the Resolved Later queue .
Updating milestone
Hi This feature is fixed in Rubicon and I have verified the same on a test box carrying the latest version. I shall close this case for now. Please feel free to re-open, if the functionality does not satisfy your expectation when site gets upgraded to Rubicon version of CEE. Regards, Vathsan Support Operations.
