I have update this FAQ answer at the OOoAuthors.org site. This is where we are

I guess I need to assign this to someone else, as I do not have the permissions
required to carry this much further on my own. I'm very sorry. I will still keep
an eye out for it, especially if things change and I am able to acquire the
permissions I need  in the future to give this request the attention it deserves.
