Description robert.kinsella 2001-12-20 11:54:42 UTC
Platform - Windows 2000, OpenOffice.org build 641Cc
Network install mode only.

testcase installation directory example is c:\network

1. As Administrator, using the command prompt cd to the directory containing the
OpenOffice.org installation set.
2. execute setup /net.
3. when prompted for install directory input c:\network.
4. After install has completed, open the control panel and add a new user, e.g.
user641.
5. Log off as Administrator.
6. Log in as user641.
7. Open Windows explorer and navigate to c:\network.
8. double click on OpenOffice.org Setup icon.
9. When prompted select to install to c:\user641

After install has completed on the Windows 2000 Task Bar select
Start - Programs.

There should be an option to select OpenOffice.org 641menu which should show
options
to select Text Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation etc.

There is an option from Start - Programs - Startup
showing OpenOffice.org641, but it does not work, i.e. selecting it
gives no action.

The user can start OpenOffice.org from the install directory c:\user641.

I can't reproduce this: I've made the -net installation as root and started the
workstation installation as standard user. The entries for OOo are made in the
startmenu folder of the user and also in the start menu of the taskbar.
