This is an issue for the whole OO-package, so i am not sure, if i have hit the 
right category.

After about two to four months of usage in a secretary (what means that it's 
running about 7 hours/day, 5 days the week, 4-6 users on different machines), OO 
slows down about four times and looses enormous in reaction time while using it.
At last, it crashes, or doesn't start up.
This was with older releases (1.0, 64x), too.

"Usage" in this case means, that Oowriter with spellbook and autocorrection is 
used, while typing Oowriter-documents. I18n is german.
Oocalc is sometimes used, the rest never.
Distribution is Mandrake 9.2.

The only way to speed it up again is to delete the user files (~/.openoffice) 
completely. But that's no way for a productive office (!!) because all settings 
get lost then (logically) and have to be redone.

That's why i rated it P1, because i will loose them as OO-users and perhaps as 
customers, if i can't correct this in near future.
