Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 26717
Bullets in justified text are at the right hand side
Last modified: 2004-03-31 06:04:08 UTC
If I first justify the text (German: Blocksatz) and then start a bullet list, the bullets are placed in a wrong way. It can be seen what I mean if the text lasts over more than one line. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a new text document. The text is automatically left justified. 2. Start a bullet list 3. Insert text that last over more than one line 4. The text and the bullet appears as expected. 5. Then justify the text to both edges (German: Blocksatz) 6. The text and the bullet still appear as expected. Now, in comparison change the order as follows: 1. Open a new text document. The text is automatically left justified. 2. Justify the text to both edges (German: Blocksatz) 3. Start a bullet list 4. Insert text that last over more than one line 5. To me, the text and the bullet appear NOT as expected since the bullets are very close the text. I suppose that this issue is not resticted to a specific platform or OS.
Created attachment 13935 [details] Screenshot on Win98 using OOo1.1.1a ==> here it works
Hi abonky, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice... I tried to reproduce this on Win98 using OOo1.1.1a... I attached a screenshot and there you can see: on my machine it works... Please try our newest version and send a new comment if your problem occurs again... set to worksforme...
Hi mci, the screenshot shows what happens if you justify the bullet list afterwards. Look at the bullets if your first justify the text and afterwards create the bullet list.
I do both of your description and couldn't reproduce it. Please try to reproduce if possible also with another OS (WinXP, Linux, etc.).
Finally, WFM with OOo1.1.1
