Description leggewie 2004-03-19 15:49:05 UTC
IMO the following combinations of Status on the one hand and Resolution on the
other are inconsistent and should not be allowed to exist in issuezilla's database.

NEW
 ./ Fixed
 ./ Wontfix
 ./ Invalid

Unconfirmed
 ./ Fixed
 ./ Invalid
 ./ Later
 ./ Duplicate

Started
 ./ Later

Resolved
 ./ Wontfix
 ./ Invalid
 ./ Later

There are certainly other inconsistent combinations as well.

I agree for most the mentioned combinations.
But issue are going through some kind of resolution before closure - even
RESOLVED/WONTFIX, RESOLVED/INVALID.

Frank, could you clarify how we would like to proceed...

confirmed

Status inconsistence is a result of internal issue-handling. This problem is
fixed now inside our tooling, but for old issues the status may be set wrong.
This will be corrected in the future by normal issue-handling.
