Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 27264
Wrong file type in the open dialog box for old StarOfffice files
Last modified: 2005-04-14 08:40:53 UTC
Hello In the open dialog box, for the old StarOffice file types (SO 3, 4 and 5), the file type displayed is "Texte OpenOffice.org" or "Modèle OpenOffice.org" instead of "Texte StarOffice" or "Modèle StarOffice" The same in english. Philippe
please attach the screenshot so I can confirm about this. sorry I did not have french OOo. but if you provide good screenshot which can show this I can confirm this. Thanks.
SBA: I can't reproduce this in the English version. I looked in OOo 1.1.0, OOo 1.1.1 and current OOo 2.0 Pre-Alpha candidate (build of 680_m39) All of them show these entries "StarWriter 3.0 - 5.0 (*.sdw)" "StarWriter 1.0 (*.sdw)" "StarWriter 2.0 (*.sdw)". Reassigned to TM.
Not repproducible in OOo 1.1.2rc2 (build 647m42).

Hello The Open dialog box hasn't changed with the 1.1.2rc3 fr version. See the attached images to see what texts I'm talking about (file types indicated in front of .sd? files). I think this issue has to be reopened. Philippe
This little bug is still there with 1.1.3 rc1 fr. Philippe
Hi phemmel, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org... reassigned to AS, set ft and sba on cc...
AS->PB: The imagemgr.src contains "PRODUCTNAME text" for these document types. Further it contains "PRODUCTNAME ..." for all other 1.0 ... 5.0 formats as e.g. "StarCalc 5.0". That's wrong. These values must be fix. Please clarify with UeserExp how these formats should be named and change your resource file. THX.
